PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding was appointed by the interior designer, Yasuda Avery to create an identity that reflected the quirky, yet comfortable nature of the stores for the first in a chain of independent bookshops based in the South of England.. Each shop is bespoke and uses the individual architectural features to form the basis of the design.
Each store is intended to create a focus for the local community and is a far cry from the usual roll out of chain bookshops. The identity takes on the idea of random stacks of books and each store will effectively have an bespoke logo based on the letters of the name of its location.
