Lipolife | Vitamin supplement identity

PROJECT: Originally contacted a few years ago, we were asked to design the identity of Lipolife, the umbrella brand name for a range of liposomal vitamin supplements, the first to launch being a Vitamin C product.
The brief was to create an identity that was clear, attractive, modern and to be far removed from the usual health shop-style graphics that are so common within the market. The graphics were to also hint at the technology behind the relatively simple product without being overly scientific.

Vivid lime and orange colours with a gold foiled logo create an eye-catching presence. The Lipolife Gold product is currently available online and at independent retailers with further products being added in the coming months.

Velvet Season | Capsule skincare range identity

PROJECT: We were contacted by a Russian client based here in the UK, to work on the design for a new range of skincare products, under the name ‘Velvet Season’. The term is used to describe the months between September and November when the weather is milder and when people in Russia prefer to take their holidays. This idea of ‘transition’ was the basis for the background colouration which is a subtle graduation from one colour to another, with the ‘VS’ marque appearing in an eye-catching gold foil.

The range initially launches with a moisturiser and series of facial toners and will be available online and at independent retailers.

Temple Spa gift box artworks

Having assisted Temple Spa with producing the artworks for their Spring gift boxes, they asked Paul Cartwright Branding to take this design, created by their in-house team, rationalise it and create the production artworks for this year’s Christmas gift product boxes. The artworks contained a highly detailed crest illustration and repeat pattern that required significant streamlining in order to create suitable quality artworks. The products can be bought online.Temple Spa gift box artworks 2012 - artworked by Paul Cartwright Branding

Merumaya | Integrative Effective Skincare product range graphics

PROJECT: After 30 years in the skincare business, Maleka Dattu of Merumaya Consulting has launched her own skincare range called Merumaya Integrative Effective Skincare. Challenged with a brief to express both the ‘integrative’ philosophy behind the range and create an identity that was both innovative and credible and at the same time personal, the range identity features a strong, interlocking capital M marque in a vivid shade of raspberry, in contrast to the neutral buff coloured background, creating a modern, approachable feel and giving the range strong on-shelf standout.

Paul Cartwright Branding created the logo and developed the packaging graphic identity, before producing the final production artworks for this range of 12 products (labelled pumps and tubes sold in branded cartons) which includes a taster set and retail sample tester cards. The range launches 15th October 2012 and is available at www.merumaya.com and on the high street at John Lewis Stores early 2013.

Temple Spa | Spring/Summer Gift Box Artwork

Based on our work for Temple Spa on previous gift box packaging projects, Paul Cartwright Branding were asked to take an existing creative direction and produce the production artworks for a series of gift boxes for the Spring/Summer seasons 2012; comprising of sets of skin and body care products and fragranced candles.
The repeat tiled pattern required a close attention to detail to ensure the spacing and pattern flowed correctly.

Temple Spa | Christmas gift box graphics

PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding and Yasuda Avery were asked by Temple Spa to consider the identity of this year’s Christmas gift set packaging graphics for their skincare product range. A move-on from the monotone direction of previous years, the new box sets feature a striking two colour pattern made from an overlapping, scaled up version of the Temple Spa icon, set on a gloss black background giving a stained glass window effect.

Paul Cartwright Branding created the concept graphic design work and the final carton production artworks.
