Penhaligon’s in-store promotional cards, wallpaper and taxi graphics

Based on the packaging identity of two product ranges – Endymion for men and Ellenisia for women, Paul Cartwright Branding was asked to create promotional cards Penhaligon’s for their Valentine’s Day sales.

A very formal and masculine frame was created for the men’s card with an overall die-cut profile – a more gentle, Victorian-style lace pattern, die-cut at larger scales, created for the women’s version.

Each card was reproduced in a range of sizes from A5 free-standing counter top versions to 1.5 metre tall window displays.

The cards were distributed to all retail outlets nationwide and appeared on the company website.

PROJECT: To complement the new store design by Yasuda Avery, Paul Cartwright Branding was asked to create a wallpaper pattern to act as a backdrop to the store’s product wall. The wallpaper was created using random scattering of the factice labels that appear on each of the retailer’s product range. The image here is of Great New Street, London store.

PROJECT: Based on the wallpaper graphics used in the new Penhaligon’s stores, Paul Cartwright Branding was asked to apply a similar treatment to a small fleet of London-taxi cabs. Positive reports from the taxi drivers say that people are stopping to take photographs!
