PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding was appointed by Bamidele Akomolafe of Longe Limited to design the packaging identity for a new range of African snacks. Using the client’s logo, the range, comprising of varieties of ‘chin chin’ – a delicious, deep fried, sweet pastry and two varieties of plaintain chips, is divided into strong colourways inspired by one of a series of African paintings from a collection available at Longe Arts.

The front-of-pack identity deliberately underplays the African origins of the snacks in order to appeal to a wider, international market. Three varieties are also available in convenient snack bag sizes.
