PROJECT: Chawtons Aromatherapy approached us to overhaul the graphic identity of their existing product range with a brief to bring the identity up to date and make it more appealing to a broader/younger market.
The previous identity consisted of a more traditional brown and orange colour scheme with a seed head icon. These, used on brown glass medicine-style jars, gave the product a much older and narrower appeal.
The original seed head icon was removed and the Chawtons lettering positioned front and centre, to form a colour-coded tab. All other product details appear below it on a modern grey background common to all labels. Product information is large and clear and uses the full space available on the die-cut full-wrap labels.
The range, divided into three sections: Therapeutics, Soaks and Rollerballs, features the new identity applied to stylish blue glass/clear components with aluminium lids, completely changing the focus of the offer. The strong colour coding/titling enables the products to be easily identified by all ages.
