Minnitron | Marketing flyer design
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding has created the latest marketing flyers for Minnitron Ltd, one of the UK’s oldest printed circuit board manufacturers. The two new flyers were designed to be striking and reflect the company’s technical nature, communicating the introduction of a new laser scanning service (shown below) and the introduction of a new gold finish to the company’s production capabilities.
The flyers, featuring Minnitron’s now signature ‘circuit pad’ pattern, were digitally printed onto pearlised board and presented in matching foiled envelopes for issue to clients.
Paul Cartwright Branding has been working with Minnitron Ltd. for the past two years on a variety of projects including company brochure, other marketing communications and the design of their trade show exhibition graphics.

Urban Apothecary London | Luxury candle range identity
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding has been working with Tajinder Banwait founder of Urban Apothecary London to create the product and packaging identity for the brand’s new range of luxury fragranced candles. The identity has an Eastern influence featuring an ornate, silver-foiled border and a bold colour-coded frame to convey the fragrance of the candle itself.
The candles were launched exclusively at London’s Top Drawer show 15-17th January and won Best New Product in the Wellbeing Category. The candles will be available to purchase online and will be on sale at John Lewis stores.

The Skin Co London | Bath & Body range packaging graphics
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding were asked to create the corporate and packaging identity for a new company entering the UK health and beauty sector. The company ‘The Skin Co London Limited’ was set up to create a fun, high street bath and body and skin care range using the latest quality and effective Fairtrade ingredients.
The packaging identity takes the ‘double leaf’ icon from the logo and creates bold areas of colour blocking for product information. The range was to be packaged in standard, off the shelf components and display clear indication of the range’s ‘friendly’ ingredients. The concept shown is one of three presented to the client earlier this year.

December 6th update
Working on packaging graphic identity concepts for a new skincare range, new graphics and artwork for additional products for our hair extensions client – the new ranges have been immensely successful in just the few weeks they’ve been available, they’ve decided to add more products! (Details will be published soon.) Also working on window marketing materials for Ark Skincare for installation in January, finalising artworks for a re-designed range of  fragranced candles and completing Temple Spa’s skin and bodycare gift packaging artwork for next Christmas!!

We’ve been hard at work designing flyers, postcards and showcards for Ark Skincare and Connock London and a flood of new marketing materials for Dragons’ Den favourite Tangle Teezer.

TANU | Spray Tan Solution Label Graphics
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding were asked to create the identity for a new range of fake-tan, spray at home tanning solutions for an online retailer. Suggestions for the naming of the product were submitted before progressing to the identity of TANU’s 3x fragranced airbrush tanning solutions.
The colours chosen, were indicative of the solution’s fragrance (cherry, chocolate and coconut) with a fourth ‘unfragranced’ product being added in to complement the range. The products are currently available through an Ebay store and soon through it’s own bespoke website.

Irikkal | Natural soap and skincare logo
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding was asked to create an identity for an existing company, offering natural, chemical-free, handmade soaps and related skincare products for sale online. Looking to move away from a very traditional, British, homemade look, the brief was to create a highly identifiable marque with a modern, quirky, but luxurious feel.
The finished logo contains both rounded and spiky elements and combines a mixture of tall, slender lettering with more dynamic ‘swoops’. The company’s website is here> www.irikkal.co.uk

PROJECT: Based on the continuing success of the 75cl sized bottle, Marshgate Farm pear juice is now available in 25cl sized bottles perfect for hotels and bars. Paul Cartwright Branding created the artwork for the new bottle having designed the previous larger size.

Temple Spa | Christmas gift box graphics
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding and Yasuda Avery were asked by Temple Spa to consider the identity of this year’s Christmas gift set packaging graphics for their skincare product range.
A move-on from the monotone direction of previous years, the new box sets feature a striking two colour pattern made from an overlapping, scaled up version of the Temple Spa icon, set on a gloss black background giving a stained glass window effect.
Paul Cartwright Branding created the concept graphic design work and the final carton production artworks. The range is currently available online at the Temple Spa website.

Keromask | Professional cosmetic range packaging identity
PROJECT: Paul Cartwright Branding were asked by Network Health & Beauty to overhaul the graphic identity of Keromask, a range of high-performance, cosmetic concealing products. Recognised and used by the British Medical Association and worldwide, the products are used to disguise tattoos, post-operative scars and other major skin blemishes.
The new logo, consisting of an eye-catching silver foil frame and lettering on a rich chestnut brown colour background features across all products, including the camouflage cream pump, finishing powder case, cosmetic wipes pack, consumer sample blister pack kits, professional make-up sets and accompanying cartons. The logo also appears as an embossing on the collar of the new silver pump reflecting a more sophisticated beauty cosmetic look.
Paul Cartwright Branding has designed and created production artwork for all of the elements in the range including packaging graphics, product labelling, instructional leaflets, point of sale and labelling for professional make-up artists kits. Antler Languages | Language school logo design
PROJECT: A logo for a new English language school based in Oundle, Peterborough, initially offering study holidays, private tuition and a consultancy service for other language schools.
The client’s brief was to integrate ‘a Union flag and some antlers’ into the identity to create an instantly ‘English’-looking logo. The finished design with its powerful ‘stag’ icon is now part of the school’s new website> www.antlerlanguages.co.uk. Web design by www.hexagonwebworks.com/

Packaging News – ‘The Lipstick Effect’ featuring NIP+FAB range…
An interesting article in this week’s Packaging News magazine re. the effect of the economic climate on the sales of cosmetics and health and beauty products in these leaner times.
The NIP+FAB skin and bodycare range that Paul Cartwright Branding created the logo and packaging graphic design for has been highlighted as one of four top health and beauty ranges that are a good example of the style and quality that is appealing to customers.
‘Stylish, glamorous and affordable. Beauty expert Maria Hatzistefanis’ range of Nip + Fab body enhancing creams and potions are available in Boots and Harvey Nichols. The products feature stylish packaging that according to Dave Timothy, senior account director at Anthem, “replay the science and nature positioning” of the range.’
